Is my pet dog right to be my service dog? Maybe. Or, we can help you find the right fit!
Ideal service dogs must have the focus, mindset, and desire to complete the job they are asked to do. Your dog may be the perfect companion, but may or may not be the right dog for your service task.
Average cost of training a service dog: $20,000 - $50,000, depending on the service work that the dog will do.
What is a service dog? A service dog is a canine trained to complete a specific task or fill a certain job needed to make a disabled person's life more manageable.
What is the difference between service dogs and emotional support dogs? Service dogs are trained to complete a specific and repeatable task that helps their handler in daily life. Emotional support dogs are not trained in a task.
You can ask someone what task their dog is trained to do, but you cannot ask if they are "certified" or other prying questions.
That's ok, we've got you!
the EDC Service Dog Scholarship Co, a nonprofit founded in 2023 can help you fund your service dog's training through Every Day Canine!
